So why start Assessd?

Having started a business (Nerds For Hire) which relied heavily on its ability to hire highly competent technical staff, we realised that there had to be a better way to remove some of the doubts, frustrations and uncertainty surrounding the application screening process most businesses go through.

The biggest question in our minds when we went to interviews was always, does this person actually know stuff about the list of competencies they've put on their resume or are they just excellent at throwing around all the relevant jargon?

We started Asssessd because we realised there was a need in the market for an inexpensive service that alleviated some of this frustration, doubt and guess work out through the application of great web-based testing around key competency areas.
